Seattle Cannabis Co. started in 2010 as a medical-cannabis shop in lower Queen Anne — back when Washington was still working out what legal cannabis would look like. We moved to Rainier Ave in 2018 and have been in the same building ever since, the heart of the Valley. Built on a simple idea: be the kind of dispensary you'd send your friends to. Discreet, fairly priced, run by people who actually live in the neighborhood.
Rainier Valley is its own thing. South Seattle has its own pace, its own crowd, and its own taste in cannabis. We tune the menu for it — bigger flower selection, more cartridges, edibles that actually do what they say they do. Our budtenders live in the Valley, ride the light rail, hang at the same spots. They'll match you to what's working without the corporate-cannabis chemistry-class lecture.
We're locally owned — no corporate parent, no franchise, no MSO. Independent since opening, still independently owned and operated today. That's the whole story. The selection is bigger, the prices are better, the people care more — and it's because we're small enough to.

Seattle Cannabis Co. is a Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB)–licensed adult-use cannabis store. Every product on our shelves passes state-mandated lab testing for potency and contaminants. Per state law: 21+ only with valid government ID, no consumption on premises, and no public consumption. Cannabis can affect motor function — never drive impaired. WA law also prohibits below-cost sales, BOGO offers, and free cannabis giveaways; our deals operate strictly within those rules.
